Would love to see Iconoclast path in potential Dark Heresy game from Owlcat with tragic consequences

I’ve been contemplating what Owlcat Games might produce next after their Pathfinder adventures. If they choose to develop a game set in the Dark Heresy universe, my hope is that the Iconoclast conviction is included as one of the paths for players.

For those unfamiliar, the Iconoclast conviction revolves around challenging authority and the established norms. It would be intriguing to see this represented in a video game, especially since selecting this path could lead to a deeply tragic ending.

Incorporating this rebellious avenue into the narrative would significantly enhance the storytelling experience. It raises the stakes for players knowing their character’s journey could culminate in misfortune. The moral dilemmas presented would be exceptional, offering a real challenge for those intent on adhering to their ideals when confronted with grim outcomes.

Has anyone else considered this potential? What other conviction paths would you like to see in a possible Dark Heresy game?

Puritan path would be wild too, imagine the moral compromises you’d have to make

Radical path could be interesting too, slowly justifying using chaos weapons against chaos itself

Monodominant would be brutal in an Owlcat game. Playing someone fanatically devoted to Imperial doctrine and willing to burn entire worlds to root out minor heresies would create some intense moments. The realization that you’ve turned into the monster would have a huge impact, especially with their writing style.

Dark Heresy from Owlcat would be amazing. The whole corruption system could work really well with their branching storylines and consequences.
