Will Overcooked All You Can Eat work on Nintendo Switch 2

I’ve been checking the compatibility list for Switch 2 backwards compatibility and noticed something weird. When Nintendo put out their initial list of Switch games that won’t work on the new system, I saw Overcooked All You Can Eat was listed as incompatible. What makes this strange is that the original Overcooked and Overcooked 2 are both supposed to work fine on Switch 2. Has anyone heard if this compatibility list got updated recently? I’m hoping this was just a mistake since it doesn’t make sense why the complete edition wouldn’t work when the individual games do.

Might be a database glitch. Check if they’ve fixed it quietly.

It seems odd that the complete edition wouldn’t work when the others do. They all run on similar tech, so hopefully, it’s just a hiccup on Nintendo’s part.

That doesn’t add up. Maybe it has something to do with how the complete edition is set up?

Could be some licensing issue with the All You Can Eat version. If the originals are good to go, just grab those for now.

Sounds like a simple glitch. The complete edition should work since it uses the same engine as the originals.

Seems like a classic Nintendo mix-up. Overcooked All You Can Eat is just an enhanced version of the originals with all the DLC included. If they confirmed that the separate games work, this one should too. Let’s wait for an official word from Nintendo before stressing out.

Seems like Nintendo dropped the ball on that one. Overcooked All You Can Eat is just the collection of the originals with some enhancements. It makes no sense for it to not work on Switch 2 if the separate games are fine. I bet they’ll correct this soon enough.
