Hey gamers, I’m kinda bummed about the Game Awards this year. Did anyone else notice how horror games got the cold shoulder? It’s like they barely existed. And then ‘ASTRO BOT’ swoops in and grabs Game of the Year? Don’t get me wrong, it’s a cool game, but I thought some of the spooky titles deserved more love. What’s your take on this? Do you think horror games are losing their edge, or is it just bad luck this time around? Maybe the judges aren’t into scary stuff? I’m curious to hear what other horror fans think about this whole thing.
Horror games are often underappreciated.
But the genre’s still thriving with passionate fans.
Maybe mainstream awards just aren’t the best place for spooky games to shine.
It’s a bummer, but horror games often get overlooked at big award shows.
The mainstream crowd and judges probably lean towards more family-friendly stuff like ASTRO BOT. Horror’s still going strong though. We’ve seen some killer releases lately that deserve recognition. Maybe it’s time for our own horror game awards.
I feel ya. Horror games can be pretty niche. But they’re still awesome, even if the awards don’t always show it. Alan Wake 2 got some love though, right? That’s something at least. Maybe next year we’ll see more spooky stuff get recognized.
Horror games are often the underdogs at big award shows.
But that doesn’t mean they’re not awesome.
The real recognition comes from fans like us who keep playing and talking about them.
Yeah, it’s a shame horror games didn’t get much spotlight. The Game Awards tend to favor more mainstream stuff. Still, there were some killer horror titles this year that deserved recognition. Guess we’ll have to keep supporting the spooky games ourselves!
