Okay, I’ve played BG3 for like 50 hours now, and I’m kinda confused about why everyone’s losing their minds over it. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not bad, but there are some things bugging me:
The story jumps around a lot. One second I’m chilling in a bar, then bam! I’m talking to some weird brain thing. It’s a bit much.
There are way too many choices when talking to people. Do I really need that many options?
The game remembers everything I do. It’s cool, but also kinda stressful.
Sometimes it feels more like a movie than a game. I’m not sure if I like that.
Everyone in the game has such a deep backstory. It’s hard to keep track of it all.
And the people you team up with? They’re so complex it’s distracting.
I guess if you’re into games that make you feel things and set the bar high, you might like it. But for me? I’m not sure it’s worth all the fuss. (Though I might have started another playthrough…)
I get what you mean. BG3 can be overwhelming with all the choices and deep stories. Sometimes you just wanna play without thinking too hard, right? But give it time, it might grow on you. I felt the same way at first, but now I’m hooked on trying different paths.
I can see where you’re coming from. BG3 is pretty dense and can feel like information overload at times. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, especially if you prefer more straightforward gameplay.
That said, I found the complexity grew on me over time. The choices and consequences started to feel less overwhelming and more exciting as I got deeper into the story.
Maybe try focusing on just one storyline or character at a time? Might help it feel less scattered. Or if it’s still not clicking, no shame in moving on to something else.
Sounds like you’re feeling a bit overwhelmed. The game’s depth isn’t for everyone. Maybe try focusing on one quest at a time? Could make it less confusing. If it’s still not clicking, no worries. Plenty of other great games out there!
