I’ve been thinking about my gaming habits lately and realized that I almost always choose the easiest difficulty when starting a new game. Whether it’s called story mode, beginner, or very easy, that’s where I feel most comfortable. I’m curious if other people do this too and what the reasons might be. Sometimes I wonder if I’m missing out on the full gaming experience by not challenging myself more. I enjoy following the story and exploring the game world without getting frustrated by difficult combat or puzzles. Does anyone else have similar preferences when it comes to game difficulty? I’d love to hear different perspectives on this topic and whether difficulty settings really matter that much for enjoyment.
Same here, I’d rather enjoy the world and characters than get stuck on some boss fight for hours.
There’s nothing wrong with playing on easy mode. I switch it up based on how I’m feeling. If life is hectic or I just want to relax, easy mode lets me enjoy the story without the hassle of tough fights. Sometimes I’ll adjust the difficulty if I want more of a challenge, but honestly, some of my best gaming moments come from just chilling on easy and soaking it all in.
I do this with RPGs all the time. Sometimes I just want to see the cool story moments and explore without dying constantly.
