Who else is enjoying Wilds at a super slow, super immersive pace?

Hey fellow hunters! I’ve been playing Monster Hunter for ages, and with Wilds, I decided to go all in on the immersion. I turned off most of the HUD, ditched the minimap, and I’m avoiding fast travel. It’s tough at first, but man, it feels so good to really know the areas!

I’m not following any guides or chasing meta builds. Just taking my sweet time, exploring every nook and cranny. Yesterday, I spent two hours playing and only hunted three monsters. The rest of the time? Just wandering around, gathering stuff, and soaking in the scenery.

It’s like I’m living in the Monster Hunter world, you know? Watching the weather change during a hunt, tracking monsters on foot, it’s all so cool. Sure, it’s slower, but it makes the big moments feel even more epic.

Anyone else playing like this? It’s been such a blast, I’m curious if others are doing the same!

Man, I totally get where you’re coming from. I’ve been doing something similar in Wilds and it’s a whole different experience.

No fast travel really changes things. You start noticing all these little details in the world you’d miss otherwise. And tracking monsters without the minimap? It’s tense but so rewarding when you finally find them.

It’s not about efficiency, it’s about the journey. Sometimes I’ll just chill and watch the sunset after a hunt. This game is too beautiful to rush through.

That’s awesome! I’m taking it slow too.

Exploring without the minimap is amazing. You really learn the lay of the land.

Sometimes I just sit and watch monsters in their habitats. It’s cool seeing how they interact with the world.

Totally get that slow pace vibe. Been doing similar in Wilds.

No guides or meta builds here either. Just exploring and figuring stuff out on my own. It’s way more satisfying when you discover something cool by accident.

The attention to detail in this game is insane. Taking time to appreciate it all makes the hunts feel more special.
