Hey everyone! I’ve been thinking about all the different indie horror characters that appear in Indie Cross and I’m really curious about which ones you guys would want to see or meet if you had the chance. There are so many creepy and interesting characters from different indie horror games that made it into the crossover. Some are absolutely terrifying while others have really cool designs or backstories. I know everyone probably has different preferences when it comes to horror characters. Maybe you prefer the classic scary ones or perhaps you like the more unique and unusual designs. What draws you to certain characters over others? Is it their appearance, their abilities, or maybe just how they fit into the overall game? I’m planning to share my pick too, but I want to hear from you all first. So which indie horror character from the crossover would be your top choice and why?
Probably Boyfriend from Friday Night Funkin. Just a rap battle instead of actual horror.
I’d pick Freddy too. His jumpscares are pretty predictable once you learn the patterns, so it’s more about the thrill than pure horror.
I’d go with Cuphead. It’s not pure horror, but those boss fights will get your heart pumping without actually scaring you. The art style’s incredible too.
Sans would be cool to meet. He’s more challenging boss fight than pure horror, and his time manipulation stuff could make for some crazy encounters.
I’d pick Bendy. Sure, he’s creepy, but that old cartoon style makes him way less terrifying than other horror characters. His ink mechanics are pretty cool design-wise too. Much better than stumbling into SOMA monsters or twisted psychological horror stuff. With Bendy, you know what you’re dealing with.
