I’ve been experimenting with different character setups and wondering what builds other players enjoy using. It seems like most teams have someone focus on strength, but there are so many other interesting combinations to try.
Here are some builds I’ve been testing:
Heavy Lifter: Focus everything on Strength and Range stats. This character handles all the heavy objects solo.
Bomb Specialist: Max out sprint speed and carry lots of explosives. The idea is to rush enemies and deal explosive damage quickly.
Melee Fighter: Equip a big hammer and boost health plus range. Perfect for taking on tough enemies in close combat.
Climber: Stack multiple jump upgrades to reach difficult areas. Add some points in range and strength as backup stats.
Runner: All points into stamina and movement speed. This character explores the map fast, finds extraction routes, and distracts monsters. They should also take the team size upgrade since they spend less time with the group.
What character builds have worked well for your team?
I’ve been playing around with a weird support build lately where you focus on range and team buffs instead of combat stats. You basically become the team’s radar and coordination hub, spotting threats early and keeping everyone grouped up properly. Not the most exciting but it really helps with those chaotic extraction moments.
I’m all about that Bomb Specialist life. Nothing beats the adrenaline rush of sprinting straight at a group of enemies with a backpack full of explosives. Sure, you might blow yourself up half the time when you’re learning, but once you get the timing down it’s so satisfying. Plus your teammates love you when you clear out those annoying chokepoints they can’t get through.
I usually go with a hybrid approach mixing Heavy Lifter with some health points. You get the utility of moving big stuff around but you’re not completely helpless when things get messy. Pure builds are fun but having some versatility keeps you useful even when the team comp gets weird or someone drops out mid-game.
