What's a non-essential habit you've developed in your favorite game?

I’m hooked on this awesome Western game. It’s so good, I get lost in it for hours. There’s this part where a character sacrifices himself to save the main guy. Even though the game doesn’t make me, I always stop to honor him before the last mission. It just feels right, you know?

I’m wondering if anyone else has little rituals or things they do in games that aren’t required. Maybe it’s how you play your character or some personal rule you follow. What’s your unnecessary but important gaming habit?

I do that in Fallout games with Nuka-Cola bottles. Started as a joke but now I can’t stop. My settlements are drowning in soda. It’s pretty funny seeing piles of bottles everywhere. Totally useless but I can’t help myself.

In Skyrim, I always collect every cheese wheel I come across. It’s totally pointless, but I can’t help myself. My character’s house is filled with them now. I’ve even arranged them neatly on shelves and tables. It’s become this weird obsession, but it cracks me up every time I see my massive cheese hoard.

In Red Dead Redemption 2, I always brush and feed my horse before missions. It’s not needed, but I feel bad if I don’t. Plus, my horse looks so happy after!
