Never thought I’d enjoy virtual farming.

But planting pixelated crops and tending digital animals is oddly satisfying.

Guess I’m living out my country dreams from the city.

Got into them after a stressful time at work.

Planting virtual crops and raising animals became my escape.

Now it’s my go-to for relaxing after a long day.

I got into farming sims totally by accident. Was browsing Steam sales and Stardew Valley popped up. Figured I’d give it a shot since it was cheap. Next thing I knew, I’d sunk 100 hours into it without even realizing. There’s something weirdly relaxing about planting crops and watching them grow. Now I’m hooked on the whole genre.

I’ve always liked chill games, so farming sims were a natural fit. Started with Stardew Valley and got hooked on the whole routine of planting, harvesting, and building up my farm. It’s a nice break from more intense games.

Started with Harvest Moon back in the day. Something about the laid-back vibe and watching your farm grow really clicked with me. Now I play farming sims to unwind after work. It’s a nice change of pace from intense shooters and stuff.
