Hey everyone! I’m new to this horror game and I’ve been playing it with my buddies. At first, we were all laughing and joking around. But then we hit this one part that totally freaked us out.
We’ve only come across a few creatures so far, but nothing too scary. Then we ran into this super creepy scene. It was so unsettling that we all went quiet. We were trying so hard not to mess up.
The atmosphere changed completely. We went from cracking jokes to being on edge. It got so intense that we had to stop playing after a certain point.
I’m curious about your experiences. What was the first moment in the game that really scared you? What made you go ‘Wow, this is actually terrifying’?
Let me know your thoughts. I’d love to hear if anyone else had a similar experience!
Silent Hill 2 really got under my skin with the psychological horror. Those foggy streets and weird monsters were creepy enough, but the story twists took it to another level. Couldn’t shake that eerie feeling for days after finishing it.
Resident Evil 7 in VR did it for me. Walking through that creepy house in first person was already intense, but when Jack Baker started chasing me I nearly ripped the headset off. The immersion is next level scary.
Man, I totally get that feeling. For me it was in Amnesia: The Dark Descent. I was cruising along, thinking I had it all under control. Then I hit this flooded basement area. The splashing sounds, the darkness, knowing something was in there with me… I noped out real quick. Took me days to work up the courage to go back. That game knows how to build tension like nobody’s business.
