What is the Dark Souls game with the most hours of gameplay?

Hey everyone, I’m planning to dive into the Dark Souls series and I’m curious about which game offers the most gameplay hours. I’ve come across various opinions about the series, but I’m a bit confused regarding which game actually takes the longest to finish.

I’m specifically interested in the game that has the highest amount of content, which includes the main storyline, side quests, optional bosses, and chances for exploration. I’m okay with a challenging experience, as long as there’s a lot to keep me engaged. I’ve heard some people claim the third game is the longest, while others argue that the second one features more areas to explore.

Could anyone who has played through several games in the series provide some recommendations? I want to ensure that I choose the game that will keep me occupied for the most time. Thank you in advance for your suggestions!

I’d say Dark Souls 2 has the most content. There are lots of areas to explore and the DLCs really add to it. You’ll be busy for a while checking everything out.

DS2 for sure, that game just keeps going and going. The DLC areas are huge too so you’ll get your money’s worth.

Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin edition definitely has the most content. The base game already has more areas than the others, plus all three DLCs are amazing. I spent about 80 hours on my first playthrough, hitting most of the optional content. The first game is shorter but feels heavier, while DS3 is kind of in between. So if you’re looking for hours, go for DS2.

Definitely DS2, especially with all the DLC content. You’ll find plenty to keep you busy.
