Hey everyone! I’ve been looking at all the horror games that are supposed to come out this year and next year, and there are so many cool ones announced. Some are from big companies with huge budgets, and others are from small indie teams that look really creative.
I’m having trouble deciding which ones to get most excited about. There are so many trailers dropping lately and it’s hard to keep track of everything. I love both the polished AAA horror experiences and the weird experimental stuff that indie developers make.
What upcoming horror titles are at the top of your wishlist right now? Are you more interested in the big budget releases or are you keeping an eye on some smaller projects? I’d love to hear what’s caught your attention recently and why you’re looking forward to it.
Can’t remember being this hyped for horror games in forever. Phasmophobia 2 looks absolutely insane, plus there’s a bunch of other stuff on Steam that’s caught my eye. The selection right now is crazy good.
I’m honestly more pumped for the smaller releases than the big ones. The Silent Hill remake might be good, but I’ve been burned by too many overhyped AAA horror games that turn into action shooters instead of actual scary experiences. MADiSON looks promising - it’s an indie that caught my attention, plus a few others I can’t recall right now. Indie devs aren’t afraid to make you genuinely uncomfortable instead of just spamming cheap jump scares.
