So I had this strange dream last night. I was at a yard sale and found this Kirby game that was supposed to be haunted. When I started playing it, all the usual creepy stuff you’d expect from those online horror stories began happening. You know, like glitchy graphics and weird messages popping up.
But here’s the funny part - I just wasn’t feeling it at all. I got bored really fast and ended up just mashing the A button to skip through all the dialogue. It’s like my brain was trying to scare me, but I was too lazy to be scared.
Has anyone else ever had a dream where they were supposed to be freaked out, but just couldn’t be bothered? It’s such a weird feeling to wake up from something like that. I’m curious if this is a common thing or if my brain is just weird.
Dude, I’ve had those dreams too! It’s like your brain wants to scare you but can’t commit. I once dreamed about a super spooky Silent Hill game, but I was more annoyed that I couldn’t figure out the puzzles than scared of the monsters. Sometimes our brains just fail at horror.
Yeah, I’ve had those dreams too. My brain once tried to scare me with a ‘cursed’ Sonic game, but I was more frustrated with the janky controls than any spooky stuff.
It’s funny how our minds can’t always pull off the scares they’re going for.
That’s hilarious, I’ve had similar dreams where my brain tries to scare me but I’m just not buying it. It’s like your subconscious is saying ‘be scared!’ and you’re like ‘nah, I’m good.’
I once dreamed about a supposedly terrifying Pokémon game, but I was more annoyed that it kept crashing than scared of any creepy stuff. Dreams are weird like that sometimes.
