I’ve been playing R.E.P.O. for a while now, and I’ve run into a weird issue. One of my characters suddenly started laughing non-stop during a mission. It’s not just a short chuckle, but a full-on laughing fit that won’t stop.
Has anyone else experienced this? I’ve tried reloading the game, switching characters, and even restarting my system, but nothing seems to work. The constant laughter is really breaking the immersion and making it hard to focus on the gameplay.
Is this a known bug? Or maybe I triggered some hidden easter egg? Any tips on how to fix this would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help!

Have you tried checking your character’s status effects? Maybe they got hit with some wacky alien spores or something. If all else fails, you might need to bite the bullet and reload an earlier save.
