Hey everyone, so I know this sounds crazy but I’m writing from way in the future and wanted to share what the meta looks like in Season 39 of Diablo IV. I realize some of you might not be happy about these changes, but trust me when I say this is how top-tier players are approaching the game by then. The power scaling has shifted dramatically compared to what you’re used to now. Build diversity actually becomes way more important than raw damage output. Players focus heavily on utility skills and crowd control rather than just stacking multipliers. Resource management also becomes crucial since they rework how mana and fury regeneration works. The paragon system gets a complete overhaul too, making positioning and timing much more significant than current number-crunching strategies. Just thought I’d give you all a heads up about where the game is heading. What are your thoughts on these potential changes?
Positioning and timing over number crunching sounds like it could bring back some old school Diablo vibes
That’d make the game way more fun and strategic. Really curious how it’ll actually play out.
I’ve got to say, that sounds like a pretty interesting shift. If they really prioritize build diversity and utility, it could change how players approach the game completely. It would definitely be refreshing compared to the usual damage focus. Resource management being important again would add a layer of strategy that a lot of players have missed. I’m all for a more tactical Diablo experience.
Build diversity over raw damage sounds amazing honestly. Current meta gets boring when everyone runs the same cookie cutter builds for endgame content.
