The Village Where All Doors Vanished

I grew up in a small Polish town near Kraków. Recently, I went back to check on my late father’s house. What I found was shocking. Every single door in the entire village had been removed. Houses were wide open to the elements. People had put up curtains or nets instead.

Apparently, this was due to a local legend about a creature called Ślepiec that knocks on doors at night. If you open, terrible things happen. So the villagers took drastic action.

As I investigated further, I uncovered dark secrets about my father’s past and his connection to this entity. I even encountered Ślepiec myself one night.

In the end, I helped resolve the situation, but was left with more questions than answers about my childhood home and family history. The experience made me reflect on the true meaning of home and belonging.

Sounds like an awesome premise for a horror game!

Imagine exploring that village, piecing together the mystery.

Could have some tense moments trying to avoid Ślepiec at night.

Whoa, that’s some creepy stuff! Reminds me of that indie horror game Visage where weird things happen in the house. Did you take any pics while you were there? Would be cool to see what it looks like with no doors.

That’s wild. Reminds me of those old Eastern European folk horror stories. I can’t imagine living without doors though. Must be freezing in winter. Did you ever find out more about this Ślepiec creature? Sounds like it could make for a pretty intense horror game premise if it’s not already one.
