I’m currently stuck on the invasion mission where you have to speak with Alpha and complete the quarantine zone section. The final boss fight is giving me major trouble and I can’t seem to beat it. My Gley character is almost maxed out with decent weapons but I keep getting destroyed. The boss does insane damage and even the smaller enemies hit like trucks. I’ve tried different strategies but nothing seems to work. Am I missing something obvious or do I just need to get better at dodging? Any tips for surviving this encounter would be really helpful. The damage output from all the enemies feels overwhelming even with good gear.
Have you tried using Gley’s berserker mode right when the adds spawn? The damage boost can help clear them fast.
What gear level are you running? Sometimes the stat requirements for that zone are higher than expected and you might need to farm better equipment first.
That mission is brutal, especially with Gley since she’s more of a glass cannon. Make sure you’re using her life steal abilities to stay alive during the chaos. Also check if your weapon mods are optimized for that fight - sometimes swapping to something with better crowd control helps more than raw damage. The key is managing all those adds while chipping away at the boss.
Try focusing on your movement rather than just dealing damage. Keep moving around and use the pillars for cover.
Yeah that boss is a real pain. One thing that helped me was bringing consumables - health potions and damage buffs make a huge difference when the fight gets chaotic. Also if you have any AOE weapons or skills, prioritize clearing the smaller enemies first since they’ll overwhelm you if you ignore them. The boss becomes much more manageable when it’s just you versus him.
Sounds like a positioning issue maybe. I found staying at medium range worked better than getting too close or too far from the boss.
Consider switching to a tankier descendant for this fight if you have one unlocked
