Still on your first Red Dead Redemption 2 playthrough years later?

Hey folks, I’m curious if anyone else is like me. I’ve been playing RDR2 since 2020 and I’m still on my first run. It’s not that I don’t play often, I just take my sweet time with it.

I love how this game lets you do whatever you want. One day I might do a story mission, the next I could be fishing or just hanging out at camp. There’s no rush, you know?

Yesterday I spent hours just paddling down a river because I felt like it. Sometimes I pick a random spot on the map and pretend to live there for a while.

I know I’m probably missing out on replays, but I’m really enjoying this slow burn. Anyone else playing like this? Or am I the only weirdo savoring every moment of their first playthrough?

Same here! Started in 2021 and still going. I love just roaming around and stumbling onto random events. The attention to detail is insane. Sometimes I’ll just follow NPCs to see what they do. This game’s a masterpiece, no need to rush it.

I’m taking my sweet time too! Started in 2019, still haven’t finished.

There’s so much to explore and do. I’ve spent weeks just hunting and crafting.

The world feels so alive, I’m in no hurry to see the end.

Totally get where you’re coming from. I started RDR2 back in 2020 and I’m still not done. It’s just so damn immersive.

I’ll go weeks without touching a story mission, just wandering around and getting into trouble. Spent a whole evening trying to catch that legendary fish near Saint Denis.

The game’s a work of art. Taking it slow lets you really soak it all in.
