Should I purchase Split Fiction immediately or hold off for a discount?

My partner and I are huge fans of the developer’s previous titles, especially It Takes Two and A Way Out. We’ve been looking forward to Split Fiction for months now, but I’m torn about whether to grab it at full price or wait it out.

The game is sitting at $67 CAD right now, which isn’t cheap. I’m wondering what everyone thinks about the current pricing. How long do new releases from this studio typically take before they go on sale?

Has anyone here tried Split Fiction yet? Would love to hear if it’s worth the day-one purchase or if I should be patient and wait for a price drop.

Picked it up yesterday - really good so far. The dimension-swapping mechanic works great and feels fresh compared to their other games.

It might be worth waiting a bit. Their games usually drop in price after a few months.

Worth it if you loved their previous games. Hazelight doesn’t disappoint and $67 isn’t terrible for co-op quality like this.

I’d wait unless you’re dying to play it now. EA typically adds Hazelight games to Game Pass or EA Play after 6-8 months if you’ve got those services. $67’s pretty steep, but their games are solid - just depends how patient you are.

Honestly I’d grab it now if you’re both excited about it. Hazelight games are solid and you know what you’re getting. Co-op games are way more fun when you’re both hyped to play together rather than waiting months for a sale. The magic wears off when everyone’s moved on to other stuff.
