I've played tons of scary games before, but wow. The audio in this remake is something else. It's like they found a way to tap into the fear center of my brain.
I'm usually pretty tough when it comes to horror stuff. But this game? It's got me on edge. I've got some nice headphones, and that just makes it worse (or better, I guess).
I can only handle playing for a couple hours at most before I need a break. It's just so intense. The creepy noises, the atmosphere... it all adds up to an experience that really gets under my skin.
Whoever did the sound for this game deserves a raise. They've totally nailed what makes a horror game scary. I'm both impressed and a little freaked out by how good it is.
Anyone else feeling the same way about the audio in this remake?
Totally agree, the sound design is incredible. Those eerie whispers and sudden noises really keep you on edge. I’ve caught myself holding my breath without even realizing it!
Yeah, the sound design in SH2 remake is top-notch.
Those ambient noises really mess with your head.
I’ve caught myself jumping at random sounds in my house after playing!
The audio in SH2 remake is wild. I played the original back in the day, but this takes it to another level.
Those creepy sounds coming from all directions really mess with you. It’s like the game knows exactly how to freak you out.
I’ve been playing at night with headphones. Probably not the smartest move, but it’s intense. Might need to switch to daytime sessions before I give myself a heart attack!
SH2’s audio is next level scary. I’ve played it with surround sound and it’s insane how immersive it gets. The static and creature noises make my skin crawl. Definitely one of the best horror game soundscapes I’ve experienced in a while.
Man, I feel you on the SH2 audio. It’s so well done, it’s almost too much sometimes. I’ve been playing with the lights on and still get creeped out. The fog and radio static really get to me. Might need to take more breaks or I’ll never finish it!
