Seeking feedback on our debut game: A surreal office simulator where quitting is the ultimate goal

Hey everyone! We’re working on this weird game and want to know what you think. It’s set in this messed-up office where nothing makes sense. Your coworkers are these creepy paper people who are way too happy all the time. The whole place is designed to burn you out.

You play as this poor guy who just wants to quit his job. But here’s the catch - to quit, you gotta get promoted first so you can talk to the boss. Crazy, right?

Does this sound like something you’d want to play? We’re trying to capture that feeling of being stuck in a soul-crushing job, but with a twist. Any thoughts on the concept or ideas to make it more interesting? Thanks for your input!

Sounds like Office Space meets Kafka. I’d play it.

Could you add secret ways to slack off without the paper people noticing?

Maybe hiding in the supply closet or ‘accidentally’ breaking the copy machine.

Sounds wild! Getting promoted to quit is a hilarious twist. Maybe add weird office tasks that get crazier as you climb the ladder? Could be a fun way to show how messed up the place is.

This game sounds trippy as hell. I’m getting some major Papers, Please meets The Stanley Parable vibes. The paper people are a neat touch. Could be cool if you had to navigate office politics and backstab your way to the top. I’d definitely give it a try.

That’s a cool concept. Reminds me a bit of The Stanley Parable mixed with Papers, Please. I’d be into it if there were multiple ways to get promoted or sabotage the office. Could be fun to see how far you can push things before getting fired instead of quitting. Maybe add some dark humor about corporate culture too.

That’s a pretty unique take on office life. Kinda reminds me of those weird browser games but with more depth. I’d be down to try it out, especially if there’s some dark humor mixed in. Maybe you could add some bizarre team-building exercises or something?

Sounds like a trip, man. I’m getting some major Stanley Parable vibes, but with its own weird twist. The paper people are a nice touch. Could be cool if you had to do increasingly bizarre tasks to impress them and climb the ranks. Like, maybe you have to learn to speak in corporate buzzwords or something equally soul-crushing. I’d give it a shot for sure.
