I’ve heard that Split Fiction supports crossplay, and I’m considering buying it for PlayStation. I have a couple of questions regarding this feature.
Firstly, can my friend, who plays on PC, join my game using a friend invite without needing to purchase his own copy?
Secondly, I’m wondering if the friend invite works only between players on the same platform, or if it also allows players on different platforms, like PlayStation and PC, to connect with each other.
Any insights from those who have played this game would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Yeah, you both need your own copies. But once that’s sorted, crossplay works really well between PlayStation and PC. I play with friends on different platforms without any issues. The friend invite system makes connecting super easy.
Crossplay is solid, but yeah, everyone needs their own copy - no sharing. I’m on PC and my buddy plays on Xbox, and we connect just fine. Just add each other as friends in the game, and you can invite whoever’s on any platform.
Crossplay is solid, but your friend definitely needs to buy their own game. Once they do, connecting across PlayStation and PC is smooth, and you should have no trouble inviting each other.
