Pummel Party PS5 Multiplayer Lobby Issues

Hey everyone! I’ve been trying to play Pummel Party online with my PlayStation 5, but I’m facing some annoying issues. When I look for online games, there are hardly any lobbies available. Even if I do find a lobby that seems active, I keep getting connection errors or I can’t join at all.

Has anyone else had similar networking problems with this game? I’m curious if it’s something on my end or if other PS5 players are dealing with this too. My internet works well for other online games, so I’m not sure what’s wrong specifically with Pummel Party.

Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah, the networking code’s pretty rough. When I get stuck on connection errors, I just restart the whole game. It fixes it sometimes.

Cross-platform play could help, but the servers can be pretty unreliable.

Same issues here. I just host my own lobby instead of searching - joining random ones barely works. Takes longer but beats dealing with those connection errors.

Try port forwarding if the other suggestions don’t work.

Yeah, I’ve seen this too. Pummel Party’s matchmaking is hit or miss, especially on console. The playerbase isn’t huge compared to other party games, so finding lobbies can be tough depending on timing. Evenings and weekends work better when more people are online.

Same issue here. Switching to ethernet instead of WiFi fixed it for me. Try that if you can. Also switch your DNS to Google’s (8.8.8.8) - that helped too. The game’s networking is pretty wonky, but these two things got me connecting to lobbies way more consistently.
