[PC] [2012-2014] Indie horror game with extraterrestrial creatures in underground base

Platform: PC

Genre: Horror/Survival

Estimated year of release: 2012-2014

Graphics/art style: First-person perspective, dark atmospheric lighting

Notable gameplay mechanics: Stealth-based gameplay with limited lighting tools

Other details: I’m trying to remember this indie horror game from years ago. You start in what seems to be a storage room in a lab filled with boxes and equipment. You begin with an emergency light source.

The enemies are these gray humanoid creatures, and I recall needing to sneak past one early on by peeking through a doorway. Additionally, there’s a part where you crawl through vents to continue.

This game was quite popular, leading to fan-made versions appearing on various platforms around 2013-2014. I’m certain it’s not “Daylight” since that game lacks the gray humanoid creatures from my memories.

Does anyone know the title of this game?

Sounds like you’re talking about SCP - Containment Breach. Those gray creatures remind me of SCP-173, and the whole underground lab vibe fits perfectly. The stealth mechanics are a big deal in that game too.

Sounds like you’ve got it with SCP Containment Breach. The beginning spot and those gray creatures fit your description perfectly, especially with the whole not blinking thing.

SCP Containment Breach is definitely the game you’re remembering. Those gray creatures and sneaking around really bring back memories. The tension from managing your light source makes it even more intense. It’s crazy how popular it got with all the fan-made versions too.

Definitely SCP Containment Breach. The vent crawling gives it away.

Totally sounds like SCP Containment Breach. That storage room vibe is super memorable.
