This game is absolutely fantastic, especially when playing with a group of people. I can’t stress enough how much more enjoyable the multiplayer experience is compared to solo play. The chaotic kitchen scenarios really bring out everyone’s true personality. You’ll find yourself shouting instructions across the room while desperately trying to coordinate meal preparation under intense time pressure. The communication challenges and frantic gameplay create some truly memorable moments. Just a friendly warning though - you might want to have a few backup friends ready because this game has a reputation for testing even the strongest friendships. The difficulty spikes can lead to some heated discussions about kitchen efficiency and teamwork strategies. Despite the potential relationship drama, it’s one of the most entertaining co-op experiences I’ve ever had.
Played this with my girlfriend and we somehow made it through without breaking up. The trick is accepting that everything will be on fire at least once per level.
My roommates and I played this during lockdown. We went from chill to screaming at each other about how to chop onions. Those ice levels are straight-up evil. But we kept coming back every night for more punishment. It’s like a toxic relationship you can’t quit.
Lost more friendships to this than Mario Party
