I recently rediscovered my old PlayStation 2 game collection from when I was a kid. It’s mostly horror and sci-fi titles. I can’t believe I held onto these gems for so long! They’re in great condition too.
I’ve got some real classics here. The Xenosaga series is complete - all three games. Same goes for the .hack series - I’ve got all four of those. Only thing is, I don’t have the original cases for these particular games. That’s why I didn’t include them in the photo I took of my collection.
It’s crazy to think how valuable some of these old games have become. I’m wondering if anyone else has kept their PS2 collections intact. What rare games did you manage to hang onto? Any fellow horror or sci-fi fans out there?
Nice collection! I still fire up my PS2 for some Resident Evil 4 sometimes. That game never gets old. The atmosphere is just perfect. What’s your favorite title from your collection?
Those old PS2 games are awesome. I’ve still got my copy of Resident Evil: Code Veronica X. That game was intense! The PS2 really had some of the best horror games ever made.
Ah, the PS2 era was golden for horror and sci-fi! I’ve still got my collection too. Silent Hill 2 and 3 are definitely standouts. But don’t sleep on Forbidden Siren or Fatal Frame. Those games still give me the creeps. It’s cool you’ve got the full Xenosaga set. That series was mind-bending in the best way. Kinda makes me want to dust off the old console and dive back in.
Man, the PS2 had such a killer lineup for horror and sci-fi! Silent Hill 2 and 3 were my jam back in the day. Wish I’d kept my collection, but I traded most of it away. Kinda regret that now, seeing how pricey some of those games have gotten.
Nice find! I’ve got a soft spot for PS2 horror games too. Clock Tower 3 and Haunting Ground are underrated gems if you’re into that genre. The PS2 really nailed the creepy atmosphere. Makes me wanna break out my old console and replay some classics.
