New task on Schedule I Trello: Swap out employee sleeping areas for storage units

Hey everyone,

I just noticed a new item on our Schedule I Trello board. It looks like we’re planning to remove the employee beds and put in lockers instead. Has anyone heard more about this? I’m curious about the reasoning behind it and how it might affect our workspace.

Does anyone know when this change is supposed to happen? Or if there’s been any discussion about it in recent meetings? It seems like a pretty big shift, so I’d love to get some more info if possible.

Also, I’m wondering if this is part of a larger office redesign or just a standalone change. If you’ve got any insights, please share!

Whoa, that’s a pretty drastic change. I’d be worried about losing nap time during long shifts. Maybe they’re trying to save space? Hope they at least keep some comfy chairs around. Curious to hear more details on this.

Nap time to storage time? That’s a big switch. Wonder if they’re planning longer shifts or just want us to power through. Could make those late nights tougher. Hopefully there’s a good reason behind it.

Strange move. Swapping beds for lockers sounds like they want us working nonstop.

Not sure how I feel about that. Might make those late nights pretty rough.

Anyone know if there’s a company-wide policy change coming?

That’s rough news. Losing sleep areas is gonna make long shifts way harder. I’ve pulled all-nighters at the office before and those beds were a lifesaver.

Maybe management’s trying to squeeze more work out of us? Or cut costs on space? Either way, it’s not cool. Hopefully we can push back on this before it happens.

Yikes, that’s a big change. No heads up from management about this? Seems odd to remove a useful perk like that. Maybe they’re trying to boost productivity or something?
