Hey everyone! Did you hear the news about the ‘Resident Evil’ franchise? It’s getting another shot at the big screen, and I’m pretty excited about it. The guy behind ‘Barbarian’ (that super creepy horror flick from last year) is taking charge of this reboot. He’s gonna write and direct it.
I’m curious what you all think. Do you reckon he can breathe new life into the series? It’s had its ups and downs in movies before. Maybe a fresh take from a horror expert is just what it needs?
What are your hopes for this new ‘Resident Evil’ film? Any characters or storylines from the games you really want to see? Let’s chat about it!
Barbarian was wild, so this could be interesting. The RE movies have been more action than horror lately. Maybe we’ll finally get something closer to the creepy vibe of the early games. I’d be down for a movie set in the RPD or Spencer Mansion.
I’m cautiously optimistic about this. The Resident Evil movies have been hit or miss, but getting a horror director on board is smart. If they can capture that tense, survival horror vibe from the games, it could be awesome. I’d love to see them do justice to the Spencer Mansion or Raccoon City. Just keep the focus on horror and not over-the-top action.
Cool news about RE. The movies have been all over the place but this could be good. Barbarian was pretty intense so maybe we’ll get some proper scares this time. Fingers crossed they stick closer to the games.
