Need recommendations for atmospheric dark fantasy games with minimal combat

Hey everyone! I’m trying to find a game recommendation for my mother who has some pretty specific preferences. She recently watched me play through some darker fantasy titles and really loved the moody environments and rich world-building, but she’s not interested in intense combat mechanics. She prefers games where she can explore and take in the scenery without having to worry about complex controller skills or fast-paced action sequences. The visual style and immersive atmosphere are what really draw her in, rather than challenging gameplay mechanics. Does anyone know of games that focus more on exploration and storytelling in fantasy settings? Something where the emphasis is on discovering the world rather than fighting through it would be perfect. Thanks for any suggestions you might have!

Myst and its sequels sound perfect for her. You explore beautiful, mysterious worlds at your own pace - pure puzzle-solving, no fighting. The atmosphere’s amazing and completely combat-free. Dear Esther’s another great pick - you just walk around a stunning island while listening to the story unfold.

What Remains of Edith Finch could be perfect. Haunting atmosphere, you just wander through this family house uncovering stories.

Firewatch could work too. Gorgeous forest setting where you just walk around and chat on the radio.
