I’ve been developing this crazy experimental game by myself for a while now. The concept is pretty wild - you control this tiny cube-shaped character who exists in this messed up reality where five different authoritarian groups are constantly fighting for control. Each faction is more ridiculous and over-the-top than the others.
The whole world is basically crumbling around you, and depending on what decisions you make throughout the game, you can get different conclusions to the story. Some are pretty obvious while others require you to really dig deep and figure out hidden stuff.
I’m stuck trying to decide what to call this thing and figured I could use some fresh eyes on it. Here are the three options I’m considering:
My Identity Vanished in the Void Realm
Devour the Rogue Skull
Rebels Nightmarish New World
(update) Had to scratch the first one since there’s apparently already a game with a similar name. If anyone has other suggestions that might work better, I’m definitely open to hearing them.
Out of those two remaining options, I’d go with Devour the Rogue Skull. It’s punchy and memorable, plus it has that weird dystopian vibe you’re going for. Rebels Nightmarish New World feels a bit generic to me. Your game concept sounds really cool though - the cube character in a world with warring factions reminds me of some of the best indie experiments I’ve played.
Both titles are pretty solid but maybe try something that hints at the faction war aspect? Your game sounds like it has that political chaos element that could make for a really catchy title.
Honestly neither of those titles really captures what you’re describing. Your game sounds like it’s about political chaos and choices in a crumbling world, but both titles feel disconnected from that concept. Maybe something that hints at the faction warfare or the decision-making aspect would work better? Like focusing on the control/power struggle theme since that seems to be the core of your game.
