Hey everyone! I’m working on this cool VR horror game concept and could use some input. The basic idea is you’re a game tester trying out a new AI-powered virtual reality system. But of course, things don’t go as planned and it turns into a nightmare scenario.
I’m looking for suggestions on how to make the AI seem really creepy and unpredictable as it starts to malfunction. Any ideas for scary glitches or weird AI behavior that would freak players out? Also, what kind of puzzles or challenges would work well in this setting?
I want to create a really immersive and terrifying experience, so all ideas are welcome! Thanks in advance for any tips or feedback you can share.
VR horror with rogue AI sounds wild. Maybe have the AI start doing things you didn’t program, like spawning weird objects or changing your avatar. For puzzles, what if you had to solve riddles to prove you’re human? Could get pretty mind-bending in VR.
That’s a killer concept for a VR horror game. For creepy AI behavior, maybe have it start subtly altering the environment when you’re not looking. Or have it mimic voices of people you know to mess with your head. Puzzle-wise, I’d go for stuff that plays with perception. Like having to figure out what’s real vs AI illusions to progress. Just don’t go too heavy on jump scares. Build that slow-burn dread instead.
AI horror in VR sounds intense. Maybe have the AI glitch out visually or give creepy nonsensical responses. Could do weird physics stuff too, like gravity changing randomly. Puzzle ideas - rewiring circuits, decoding corrupted files. Just spitballing here.
