Looking for wireless gaming headset with surround sound that actually works for immersion

Please don’t suggest software EQ solutions - I’ve already tested those and they don’t deliver what I need

I had this amazing pair of Logitech G933 headphones that made gaming feel incredible. The surround sound technology in them was so good that when my buddy tried them during FPS matches, he said the audio positioning was almost too realistic and intense. Unfortunately Logitech stopped making them (typical move from them honestly) and replaced them with the G935 model.

The newer G935s use different audio processing and honestly they sound awful compared to the older ones. The audio feels flat and lifeless. I’m specifically interested in headsets that support Dolby Atmos since that seems to be the main tech difference between my old working pair and the disappointing replacement.

Does anyone know of wireless gaming headsets that actually deliver that “you’re inside the game” feeling? I want something that gives excellent directional audio for competitive gaming.

The SteelSeries Arctis 7P has really solid spatial audio that’s great for competitive gaming

I totally get the frustration when they replace something good with garbage. Check out the Audeze Penrose - those planar magnetic drivers absolutely crush spatial audio. I switched after my old headset died, and the directional sound in Tarkov is insane. Yeah, they’re pricier, but worth every penny.

The Corsair Virtuoso RGB Wireless has solid surround sound for FPS games. Beats most wireless headsets I’ve used.
