Looking for RPGs with deep immersive worlds similar to Cyberpunk 2077 where I can spend countless hours exploring

So I thought I was done with gaming for good, but then Cyberpunk 2077 pulled me right back in. The whole Night City vibe just hits different, you know? Characters like Judy, Panam, and Evelyn actually feel real and make you genuinely invested in their stories. The combat system lets you feel like a total badass too.

What I’m really craving now are more games where you actually want to slow down and savor every moment. Like when you find yourself doing random side quests just because you don’t want the experience to end. Games where the world feels so alive that exploration becomes addictive.

Anyone know if Red Dead Redemption 2 or that upcoming Clair Obscur game would scratch the same itch? Really need something that’ll keep me hooked for weeks.

RDR2 is exactly what you want. I’ve burned entire weekends just hunting and wandering around. Witcher 3’s another solid pick if you haven’t touched it. For newer stuff, grab Baldur’s Gate 3. Different vibe but the characters and world are insane. Third playthrough and I’m still hitting new dialogue I’ve never seen.

Absolutely, RDR2 nails this. The world feels alive and there’s always something new to discover.

Disco Elysium’s worth a shot if you want something completely different but just as immersive. Zero combat, but the writing and world-building are absolutely incredible.
