Hey everyone! My friend and I just finished playing A Way Out, It Takes Two, and Split Fiction together, and we had such a great time. We’re now on the lookout for more co-op games that have engaging storylines and do similar things. We loved working together to solve puzzles and move through the story in those games. We’re hoping to find something enjoyable on PlayStation 5 that offers a similar experience. Any suggestions for story-centered co-op games would be really helpful. Thank you!
Brothers A Tale of Two Sons gives you that co-op vibe even though you’re playing solo - you control both brothers at once, which makes for some really clever puzzles. If you want something more hectic, try Overcooked. It’s pure chaos but you’ll need solid teamwork to survive.
Lost in Random’s got this awesome dice combat where you’ve gotta work together with your partner. The story’s like a dark fairy tale - really trippy stuff. If you want something more chill, try Moving Out. It’s co-op furniture moving that’s way more insane than you’d think.
If you liked those, definitely try Portal 2’s co-op mode. Solving puzzles together is a blast!
Unravel Two is exactly what you need. Two yarn characters help each other through obstacles. The story’s beautiful and the puzzles actually require teamwork to solve. The art’s gorgeous too. If you want something more puzzle-focused with mystery elements, try We Were Here Together.
Sackboy A Big Adventure has amazing co-op gameplay with tons of creative levels to work through together.
