Looking for a dystopian stealth game from the 2010s with a flesh monster final boss

Hey everyone, I need help finding a game I played with a friend. It’s bugging me that I can’t remember much about it. Here’s what I know:

  • It’s a stealth game set in a tech dystopia
  • Probably came out sometime in the 2010s
  • We think it was on PlayStation but not 100% sure
  • The graphics were stylized, not super realistic
  • You might play as a young boy, but there wasn’t much talking
  • The final boss was this gross blob made of human body parts
  • It was trapped in some kind of lab
  • Most of the game was sneaking around
  • There was a part where you had to blend in with zombie-like people
  • The main enemies were flying robots or drones that scanned for you

Does this ring any bells for anyone? Even if a game matches most but not all of these points, I’d love to hear about it. My memory of this is pretty fuzzy so I might have mixed up some details. Thanks for any help you can give!

Inside is such a trip. The way it builds tension without any dialogue is impressive. Sneaking past those drones always had me on edge. And yeah, that flesh blob at the end is straight-up nightmare fuel. Playdead really knows how to create a haunting atmosphere.

Man, Inside is such a mind-bending experience. The way it ramps up the tension without saying a word is brilliant. I still get chills thinking about sneaking past those drones and blending in with the mindless crowds. And that ending… talk about a gut punch. Playdead really outdid themselves with the creepy atmosphere and twisted puzzles.

That game sounds super familiar! I’m pretty sure you’re talking about Inside. It’s a creepy puzzle-platformer from Playdead, the folks who made Limbo. Came out around 2016 I think. Definitely matches the dystopian vibe, stealth gameplay, and that bizarre flesh monster at the end. The part about blending in with mind-controlled people is spot on too. Great game, really unsettling atmosphere throughout. Did you end up finishing it?

Inside is definitely the one. That ending with the flesh blob is unforgettable.

The whole game has this eerie, unsettling vibe that sticks with you.

Playdead really nailed the creepy dystopian atmosphere.

Sounds like Inside for sure. That game really sticks with you. The atmosphere is super creepy and the puzzles are clever. I remember feeling so tense sneaking past those security drones. And that ending… man, it’s trippy and disturbing in the best way. Playdead knows how to make games that get under your skin.

Inside is a mind-bender for sure. The stealth parts kept me on edge.

That flesh blob finale was so unexpected and disturbing.

Playdead really knows how to create an unsettling world without words.

Inside is such a wild ride. The atmosphere is off the charts creepy. That part where you’re controlling the horde of bodies still freaks me out. And yeah, that ending… totally didn’t see that coming. Playdead really knows how to mess with your head.
