Looking for a 90s cyberpunk-style point-and-click detective game on DOS

Hey everyone! I’m trying to track down this old DOS game from the early 90s. It was a point-and-click adventure with a cyberpunk vibe, kinda like Blade Runner.

You played as a detective living in this futuristic city. I think you started in your apartment in a big skyscraper. The gameplay was typical for the genre - clicking to move around, interact with stuff, that sort of thing.

The graphics were similar to other adventure games of the time, like the Monkey Island series. I remember the whole game had this dark, dystopian feel to it.

I played it when I was just a kid, so my memory’s pretty fuzzy on the details. Does this ring any bells for anyone? I’d love to revisit it if I can figure out what it was called!

Edit: Mystery solved! It was ‘Rise of the Dragon’ from 1990. Thanks for the help, folks!

Rise of the Dragon was pretty solid. Not as well-known as some other adventure games from that era, but it had a cool atmosphere. The puzzles could be tricky though. Have you played Beneath a Steel Sky? Another great cyberpunk point-and-click from around that time.

Rise of the Dragon was such a cool game. Those early 90s point-and-clicks really nailed the cyberpunk aesthetic. The pixelated cityscapes and that moody synth soundtrack still stick with me. Glad you tracked it down! Might be time for me to fire up DOSBox and revisit it myself.

Rise of the Dragon’s a blast from the past. Those old-school cyberpunk games had something special. Now I wanna dig out my floppy disks and relive it!

Ah, Rise of the Dragon! Classic cyberpunk adventure.

That game nailed the gritty future noir vibe. Glad you found it again!

Man, Rise of the Dragon takes me back. That game was peak 90s cyberpunk. The gritty atmosphere and those chunky pixel graphics really stuck with you.

I remember struggling with some of those puzzles though. Spent way too long clicking on everything in sight trying to figure out what to do next.

Kinda makes me want to dive back into some retro point-and-clicks now.
