Is Three Layer Dungeon slowing down gameplay too much?

I’m really digging the concept of the three layer dungeon but I feel like it’s not quite there yet. It’s turning into a waiting game most of the time.

The current setup makes you:

  1. Dodge risky PvP in Ruins
  2. Twiddle your thumbs in Crypts
  3. Cross your fingers for a good spawn in Inferno

If things don’t go your way you’re back to square one waiting for the Ruins map to come back. It’s just too much downtime!

I’ve got some ideas to spice things up:

  • Fill up Crypts lobbies
  • Add boss hints on Crypts stairs
  • Stick the Lich boss in Crypts
  • Put a team extract in Ruins center for quick Inferno access

What do you guys think? Any other ideas to keep the action flowing?

Totally get where you’re coming from. The three layers are cool but yeah, there’s a lot of waiting around. Maybe they could add some mini-events in Crypts to keep us busy? Or give us something to do while we’re dodging in Ruins. Just need more action overall to keep it fun.

Hmm, good points about the pacing.

Maybe add some random events in Crypts?

Like treasure hunts or monster ambushes.

Keeps things interesting while we wait for Inferno.

I feel you on the waiting game. The three-layer concept is solid, but it needs tweaking. Your ideas are on point, especially filling up Crypts lobbies. Maybe they could add random loot spawns or roaming mini-bosses in Crypts too? That’d give us something to do besides twiddling our thumbs. And yeah, quicker access to Inferno would definitely keep things moving.
