I just started playing this new horror game and I’m totally freaked out. The atmosphere is so creepy and the jump scares are making me want to hide under my blanket. I’m not sure if I can handle it.
Has anyone else played it? How do you deal with scary games? I really want to finish it, but I’m worried I’ll have nightmares. Maybe I’m just being a wimp?
Any tips for getting through super scary parts would be awesome. Should I play with the lights on? Or maybe watch some funny videos between gaming sessions to calm down?
Thanks for any advice you can give a scaredy-cat gamer like me!
I’ve been there. Horror games can be intense. Playing with the lights on definitely helps take the edge off. Music between sessions is good too, anything upbeat.
At the end of the day though, it’s all about pushing through those scary moments. The adrenaline rush is part of the fun. If it gets too much, no shame in taking a break or lowering the difficulty.
I feel you on the scary games. They can be pretty intense. I usually play during the day and keep some lights on. Helps me remember it’s just a game. If it gets too much, no shame in taking a break or watching something funny to reset.
I’ve played my share of horror games. They can be pretty nerve-wracking. Sometimes I stream them on Twitch so I feel less alone. Helps to have people to chat with while playing. Also try adjusting the game’s audio settings. Lowering the creepy music a bit can make a big difference.
