I’ve been browsing through the games on Game Pass and came across ‘Still Wakes the Deep’. It looks like an underwater horror game, which sounds pretty interesting. Has anyone here played it? I’m wondering if it’s actually scary and if the gameplay is any good.
I usually enjoy horror games, but I’m not sure if this one is worth my time. What do you think? Are there any standout features or is it just another generic horror title?
If you’ve tried it, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Is it genuinely creepy or more of a jump-scare fest? And how long does it take to complete? Thanks in advance for any input!
Still Wakes the Deep is pretty solid. The underwater setting really amps up the tension. Not super long, but the atmosphere is top-notch. Definitely creepier than your average jump-scare game. If you’re into horror, it’s worth checking out on Game Pass for sure.
I haven’t played Still Wakes the Deep yet, but it’s on my list. The underwater horror concept sounds awesome. Reminds me a bit of SOMA, which was super creepy. Might give it a shot this weekend if I can find the time.
I played through Still Wakes the Deep last week. It’s not groundbreaking, but the underwater setting is pretty cool. The claustrophobic vibe of the oil rig really gets under your skin. Gameplay is basic, but the story kept me hooked. Took about 5-6 hours to finish. If you’re into atmospheric horror, give it a shot. Just don’t expect anything revolutionary.
