Hey everyone, I need your thoughts on something. My buddy claims Poppy Playtime is the biggest indie horror game out there. I’m not so sure. I think games like Five Nights at Freddy’s are way more popular. My friend says YouTubers are all hyped for Poppy Playtime Chapter 4, but I hadn’t even heard about it. I don’t know much about indie horror, so I’m curious what you think. Is Poppy Playtime really that big? Or are there other indie horror games that are more popular? What’s your take on the current indie horror scene?
Poppy Playtime’s got buzz, but the indie horror scene is huge.
FNAF, Layers of Fear, Little Nightmares - all have big followings too.
Depends on what scares you most!
Nah, Poppy Playtime isn’t the king of indie horror.
SOMA, Darkwood, and Visage are seriously underrated gems.
Indie horror’s got so many hidden treasures to discover.
Poppy Playtime is pretty cool, but I wouldn’t say it’s the top indie horror game. There’s a bunch of other great ones out there like Amnesia, Outlast, and Phasmophobia that are still super popular. It’s hard to pick just one as the biggest.
Poppy Playtime is kinda overrated if you ask me. Sure, it’s got some hype, but there are way better indie horror games out there.
I’ve been playing Darkwood recently and it’s seriously creepy. The atmosphere is insane. And don’t even get me started on Visage - that game had me scared to turn off the lights for weeks.
Indie horror is thriving right now. There’s so much good stuff to choose from.
Poppy Playtime’s cool, but the indie horror scene is way bigger than just one game. I’ve been playing a ton of Phasmophobia lately. That ghost hunting gameplay is addictive. There’s so many good indie horror games out there to try.
