Is open mic the ultimate way to enjoy R.E.P.O.? My controversial take

Hey fellow R.E.P.O. fans! I know this might ruffle some feathers, but I can’t help thinking that open mic nights are the absolute best way to experience this game. There’s just something electric about the atmosphere when players take turns sharing their creations live. The spontaneity, the raw talent on display, and the supportive crowd reactions make it so much more engaging than playing alone or in small groups. Plus, it’s a great way to discover new play styles and get inspired. Am I the only one who feels this way? What are your thoughts on open mic R.E.P.O. sessions? Have you tried it before? Let’s discuss!

I’ve done open mic R.E.P.O. a few times. It’s a rush, but can be hit or miss. Some nights you get amazing players and it’s awesome. Other times it’s awkward silences and newbies fumbling through. I enjoy it, but wouldn’t call it the ultimate way to play. It’s just different from regular sessions.

I’ve never actually tried open mic R.E.P.O., but it does sound pretty interesting. Might be a bit nerve-wracking to play in front of strangers though. Could be fun to check out as an audience member first to get a feel for it.

Sounds like a cool way to experience R.E.P.O.

I’d love to see some pros show off their skills.

Maybe I’ll work up the courage to try it someday.

Open mic R.E.P.O. sounds cool, but I prefer playing with my regular group. We’ve built up our own little world and inside jokes. Still, I can see how sharing with a bigger crowd could be fun too.

Never tried open mic R.E.P.O., but it sounds intense. Not sure I’d be brave enough to play in front of a crowd. Might be fun to watch though!
