Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about something interesting lately. It just hit me that out of all the substances classified as Schedule I drugs, cannabis is the only one our bodies actually make on their own. Isn’t that wild? I mean, we have an endocannabinoid system that produces chemicals similar to those found in marijuana. But we don’t naturally make other Schedule I drugs like heroin or LSD. This got me wondering about the logic behind drug scheduling. What do you guys think about this? Does it make sense to you that we criminalize a substance our bodies produce naturally? I’d love to hear your thoughts on this!
Drug scheduling can be pretty weird sometimes. It’s crazy how weed is Schedule I when our bodies make similar stuff. Maybe the laws need a serious update to match what we know now. Definitely makes you think about how these decisions get made.
Makes you wonder about the scheduling system.
Our bodies produce cannabinoids, yet cannabis is Schedule I.
Seems like the laws could use an update based on science.
Drug scheduling is a tricky topic. Laws don’t always match up with biology.
Cannabis being Schedule I does seem odd given our natural endocannabinoid system.
Maybe it’s time to reevaluate some of these classifications.
Good point about the endocannabinoid system. Drug laws are complex.
Legality doesn’t always match up with biology or potential benefits.
Interesting to think about how scheduling decisions get made.
That’s a really interesting observation about cannabis. I never thought about it that way before. It does seem kinda weird to outlaw something our bodies make naturally. But drug laws aren’t always based on pure science or logic. There’s a lot of politics and history involved too. Still, it’s definitely food for thought about how we classify and regulate different substances.
