Hey everyone! I’m kinda stuck and need some advice. I love The Sims 4 and have a bunch of packs that I really enjoy. But I can’t help noticing that it’s starting to feel a bit old compared to some of the newer life sim games out there.
I’m torn because I want to try these new games, but I feel bad about it since I’ve already spent so much on The Sims 4. I don’t get to play that often, so I’m worried I’ll end up not using The Sims 4 anymore if I get into something new.
Am I making too big a deal out of this? Should I stick with just one life sim game, or is it okay to want to try something different after playing The Sims 4 for so long?
What do you guys think? Have any of you been in a similar situation? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
I’ve been in the same boat. Sims 4 is great, but there are some cool new life sims out there. Paralives looks promising. Maybe try a free demo of something different and see how you like it before committing?
Totally fine to try new games! If you’re feeling bored with Sims 4, exploring other life sims could reignite your interest in the genre. You might even appreciate Sims 4 more after playing something else.
Sims 4 is awesome, but branching out can be fun too. I’ve tried a few other life sims and it’s refreshing to see different mechanics and styles. You might find something that clicks even better with you.
I get where you’re coming from. Sims 4 is a classic, but yeah, it’s showing its age a bit. Personally, I’ve found mixing it up with other life sims keeps things fresh. You don’t have to completely abandon Sims 4 - just take breaks to try new stuff. Who knows, you might find some cool features in other games that make you appreciate Sims 4 even more when you go back to it.
