Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking about an interesting game concept lately. What if we took the amazing world-building of Bioshock and turned it into a murder mystery game set in a bleak future?
Picture this: You’re a detective in an underwater city, but instead of plasmids and Big Daddies, you’re solving complex crimes. The city is falling apart, resources are scarce, and tensions are high. Every suspect has a motive, and the line between right and wrong is blurry.
You’d still have that creepy, atmospheric vibe, but with more focus on investigation and puzzle-solving. Maybe you’d use futuristic tech to analyze crime scenes or interrogate AI witnesses.
What do you think? Would this be something you’d play? How would you blend Bioshock’s unique style with detective gameplay? I’m really curious to hear your ideas!
That’s a wild idea. I’d be down for a Bioshock detective game. The creepy atmosphere would work great for solving murders. Maybe you could use plasmids to gather evidence, like telekinesis to reach hidden clues. And imagine questioning Little Sisters as witnesses. The moral choices could be intense too, like deciding whether to splice up for better detective skills.
That’s a cool idea. Bioshock’s underwater dystopia would be perfect for a noir detective game. Imagine using hacked security bots to scout crime scenes or decoding audio diaries for clues. The political tensions in Rapture could lead to some really twisted cases too.
That’s a killer concept! Bioshock’s world is perfect for a noir detective story. Imagine interrogating splicers or hacking security cameras for clues. The political intrigue of Rapture would make for some twisted murder plots. I’d definitely play that game.
Man, that’s a killer concept. I’m picturing this gritty underwater noir vibe with art deco aesthetics. You could have some really unique crime scenes, like bodies floating in flooded corridors. Maybe splice in some cyberpunk elements too, with gene-hacked suspects and DNA evidence. The political tensions in a failing underwater city would make for some seriously twisted motives.
