I had a bizarre dream about an indie horror game featuring an animated blue character with object NPCs

Last night, I experienced a really odd dream about a non-existent indie horror game. It had a combination of point-and-click gameplay and visual novel elements. The protagonist was this lively blue character, while all the other characters were just images of random objects.

Before things turned creepy, there were strange side quests to complete. One of them involved playing hide and seek with a power outlet, and there were other quirky tasks that I can’t fully remember. At a certain point, I found out that a sock character kidnapped the main character for some unknown reason.

To make things even stranger, this imagined game seemed to have a huge fan base online, and the community was known for generating some rather questionable fan art of the blue character. Has anyone else ever had such vivid dreams about games that aren’t real?

Playing hide and seek with a power outlet is genius game design.

Dreams about games that don’t exist hit different, especially when they’re that detailed.

Your brain just made an entire indie game with community drama while you slept. Pretty wild what dream logic can pull off.

That sock villain sounds way more terrifying than it should be.

Yeah, I’ve had gaming dreams too but yours is way more detailed than mine. Your brain literally invented a whole fanbase and weird fan art for some blue character - that’s wild. Makes me think our brains just randomly cook up game ideas while we’re sleeping.
