I’ve been thinking about picking up Stranger of Paradise but I’m not sure if it’s worth my time and money. I’ve seen mixed reviews online and want to get some real opinions from people who actually played it.
What did you think of the overall gameplay experience? Did you find it engaging or was it boring? I’m also curious about the story quality. Some people say it’s confusing while others claim it’s actually decent once you get into it.
I usually enjoy action RPGs but I don’t want to waste money on something that might disappoint me. Any honest feedback would be really helpful before I make my decision.
The gameplay is fun, just be ready for the job system which might feel a bit overwhelming at first. There are plenty of classes to try out, and the combat feels good. The story is totally bonkers, but that seems intentional. It’s taking a wild approach to reimagining FF1. I’d say it’s worth getting if you can find it on sale.
