How did indie horror films boost three independent distributors to record-breaking success in 2024?

Hey everyone,

I just found out some cool news about indie horror movies and wanted to share. It looks like 2024 was a big year for some smaller movie distributors thanks to some scary flicks!

IFC Films got their best-selling movie in 10 years with ‘Late Night With the Devil’. I haven’t seen it yet but it sounds creepy.

NEON and MUBI also hit it big. They both had their most successful movies ever! NEON’s was called ‘Longlegs’ and MUBI’s was ‘The Substance’.

It’s pretty awesome to see indie horror doing so well. Have any of you watched these movies? What did you think? I’m always looking for new scary movies to check out!

Let me know if you’ve got any other indie horror recommendations too. I’m a big fan of the genre and love supporting smaller filmmakers when I can.

Man, indie horror has been killing it lately. I caught ‘Late Night With the Devil’ and it was a wild ride. Totally gave me those retro vibes but with a modern twist. Haven’t seen the others yet, but they’re on my list.

It’s rad to see these smaller companies crushing it. Proves there’s still a huge appetite for creative, original horror flicks. Mainstream stuff is fun, but indie horror often takes more risks and gets under your skin in different ways.

Those smaller distributors are really bringing the scares. Nice to see original horror getting some love. Gotta add these flicks to my watch list. Always down for some fresh nightmares!

Sweet to see indie horror crushing it.

Haven’t caught these yet, but they sound killer.

Indie flicks often bring the real scares.

Gotta love when smaller studios show up the big guys.

I love seeing indie horror getting recognition. The genre’s so creative when it’s not tied to big studio expectations. ‘Late Night With the Devil’ sounds like my jam. Gonna have to check that one out soon. Always up for a good scare!

Indie horror’s been on fire lately. I caught ‘Longlegs’ and it messed me up for days. So good though. These smaller films often hit harder than the big budget stuff. Can’t wait to see what else comes out of the indie scene this year.
