Help me find a post-apocalyptic RPG with a map and pet companion

I’m trying to remember a game I played a couple years back. It was set in a dystopian future where you had to navigate a printed map. I recall one of the character classes had the option to have a pet companion.

Does anyone here recognize this game? I remember starting at a central base and then moving through multiple regions. I’m really stumped on the name and have been searching non-stop. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Neo Scavenger definitely fits the bill. Love that game’s survival mechanics.

If that’s not it, maybe check out Underrail? It’s got that post-apocalyptic underground vibe with a huge map to explore.

Hmm, that doesn’t sound like Wasteland 3 to me. I’m thinking it might be Neo Scavenger. That game has a map you use to move around, and there’s a dogman companion you can get. The setting is definitely post-apocalyptic too. Ring any bells?

Neo Scavager keeps coming up for good reason.

It’s got that gritty survival feel with map navigation.

Another option could be ATOM RPG if you’re into old-school Fallout vibes.

Neo Scavenger seems to be the consensus here, and I gotta agree. That game’s got a unique vibe with its map-based movement and survival mechanics. The dogman companion is a nice touch too. If you’re into that post-apocalyptic style, you might also want to check out Atom RPG. It’s got a similar feel but leans more into that classic Fallout-style gameplay.

Sounds like Wasteland 3. That game has a map, post-apocalyptic setting, and you can get animal companions. Really cool tactical RPG if you’re into that stuff.

Neo Scavenger is a great shout. That game nails the post-apocalyptic vibe with its map and survival elements. The dogman companion is pretty cool too. If you’re into that style, you might also dig Atom RPG. It’s got a similar feel but with more of an old-school Fallout flavor.

Neo Scavenger sounds closer to what you’re describing. That game nails the whole dystopian vibe with its map navigation. The dogman companion is a nice touch too. It’s one of those hidden gems that doesn’t get enough love. If that’s not it, maybe check out Atom RPG? It’s got a similar feel but with more of an old-school Fallout twist to it.
