Hey everyone! I need help tracking down this indie horror game I saw on a stream once. I think it was maybe 6 months to 2 years old when I watched it.
The game is played in first person and happens around a small cottage or wooden house. You basically do boring everyday stuff in a specific sequence. But then things get weird and you end up calling forth some kind of demon or evil spirit.
It starts out looking pretty normal but gets really scary as you progress. Classic indie horror style where it tricks you at first.
I’m pretty sure I saw either Tomato or Vinny streaming it on youtube but I can’t find the video anymore. Does this ring a bell for anyone? Thanks!
You might be thinking of Phasmophobia or one of those ritual simulator games. Those cottage settings where everyday tasks turn into demon summoning are pretty popular in indie horror lately.
You might be thinking of Inscryption. It has that cabin setting and dives into some occult themes, though it’s more card-based. Another one to check out is The Ritual on Weylyn Island; it really captures the cottage vibe and involves demon summoning. Both start out normal and then totally take a wild turn.
